Explore the Tara Hills, Trim Castle, Loughcrew and Fore Abbey on a day trip from Dublin!
After meeting your driver guide in the early morning on Suffolk Street, you will reach the hills of Tara, sacred site of the ancient kings of Ireland. You can admire the panoramic view of the Irish countryside, accompanied by your driver guide.
You'll then head for the old town of Trim, where you can see Trim Castle, Ireland's largest Anglo-Norman castle, with its extensive gardens and three-storey keep (entrance not included). If you opt for the admission to the castle, you will be able to visit it accompanied by an official guide.
Then, you will head to Loughcrew, composed of about thirty tombs carved from a stone dating back to 5000 years, while listening to your guide's comments.
After a lunch break (meal not included), you'll continue your journey with a visit to Fore Abbey, accompanied by your guide. Founded by Saint Fechin in the 7th century, this site is famous for its seven wonders, including the water that flows uphill and the tree that does not burn.
Finally, you will take the road at the end of the day to Dublin.
