Discover Ho Chi Minh City in an unusual way: the pedicab!
Climb into a pedicab, the local transportation, and discover the city in comfort, security, and no effort. Depending on your interests, there are two possible tours:
Option 1: Central Ho Chi Minh and the War Remnants Museum
Travel through the historic center of the city, and learn about Ho Chi Minh City before the war.
First, visit the War Remnants Museum. Here, visitors will see various military equipment as well as other reliques from the Vietnam war. Then, explore the Reunification palace, which is the former official residence of presidents.
The tour will continue on to the Notre Dame cathedral and central post office, which are examples of Colonial French architecture. Finally, enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
Option 2: Chinatown
Explore the historic center of Chinatown, also known as "the Big Market" by locals.
This interesting area brings together the Hoa, who are Vietnamese vendors of Chinese origin, who sell dishes, clothing, spices, and all sorts of items.
During the trip visitors will be able to smell herbs that are used in traditional medicine, as well as discover small family businesses. Along the way, admire the Lady Thien Hau Temple, and the historic Cha Tam church. Before lunch, enjoy a shopping break at the Binh Tay market, before sitting down for a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
