Head out the discover the Falljökull glacier during this hiking trip in Skaftafell!
Meet your expert guide at the Skaftafell visitor center in the Vatnajökull national park. Climb aboar the bus and head to the Falljökull glacier. As you cross the mountains, admire the beautiful scenery from the bus. You will be able to see the Vatnajökull glacier.
Once at the Falljökull glacier, put on your equipment and start hiking. Your guide will explain the origins of the glacier and how it has evolved over time as they guide you along the fissures safely.
Once you've reached the summit, enjoy an amazing view of the mountains and ocean. Then, head back down towards the starting point.

Visitors are advised to wear walking shoes and warm, waterproof clothing
We advise you to spend the night nearby. The state of roads depends on weather conditions, especially during the winter. Reykjavik is more than 300km from Skaftafell, or 4 hours of driving when the weather is good
Walking on the glaciers can be dangerous, your guide will help you discover them safely
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 3 days prior to the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price. Any reservation made for special dates cannot be canceled, modified or refunded.
